Our story started with a table.

Over a decade ago, Nancy spotted a beautiful end table she wanted for the house. Instead of buying it, Carlos decided to build it himself — armed with YouTube tutorials, raw wood, and a level of confidence that the final result probably did not deserve. A few weeks later, a hand-crafted table sat in the living room. It was not perfect. But it was made, and that changed everything.

Woodworking became part of the fabric of how we lived. Tables, desks, cutting boards, charging stations, custom cabinets, wall-mounted bottle openers — each project taught us something about patience, precision, and the satisfaction of making something with your hands. Our love for travel started feeding the work too. The warm tones of a Mediterranean sunset. The earthy textures of the desert Southwest. The colors of places we had been started showing up in the things we built.

By 2020 we launched Horacio & Visconti — a creative venture built around design, craftsmanship, and the stories that travel leaves behind.

We are currently deep in the research phase of our RV journey — evaluating rigs, haunting campground reviews, arguing about floorplans, and learning the hard way what questions to ask before you sign anything. We are not full-timers yet. But we have been camping long enough to know the culture, and we have spent enough time around RV owners to know exactly what makes them laugh.

That is where the shirts came from.

The Backed It Up Eventually tee exists because backing a rig into a tight campsite spot in front of an audience is a universal experience — whether you have done it yourself or watched someone else do it six times in a row. Three people told us that shirt was exactly right before we even had a shop. That became the test for every Horacio & Visconti design. If someone sees it and immediately has a story, it belongs in the collection.

We are based in Tennessee. We are building toward full RV life one trip at a time. And we build everything around real moments on the road — the sewer hose situation, the dog who picks the campsite, the first-time owner discovering that level is a suggestion not a guarantee. Every shirt is printed on Comfort Colors 1717 — garment-dyed, pre-shrunk, and soft in a way that cheap blanks never are — and fulfilled through Printify from the U.S.

Beyond the shirts, we write honest RV guides and gear reviews right here on the site. Research we have done, gear we have tested, and advice we wish someone had given us earlier in the process.

We are not experts. We are building the dream with you.
